Mestské múzeum Chotěboř – audiovisual exhibition elements

About the project

For Chotěboř City Museum we delivered comprehensive audiovisual elements for the new museum exhibition. We worked on the project for almost a year and contributed to the creation, production, technical preparation, installation and commissioning of individual audiovisual content directly in the museum space.

Our task was to provide a functional and visually coherent system of AV elements that presents the history of the city, region and specific historical topics to visitors in a modern, comprehensible and engaging way. The project combined film, sound, interactive elements, archival materials, eyewitness accounts, drone footage and digital formats designed for use in the museum exhibition.

As part of the project, we prepared videos, audio tracks, interactive games and other digital outputs for museum visitors. The work also included creating subtitles, working with historical photographs and slides, recording soundtracks, processing text materials and technically optimising individual formats for specific display and audio equipment in the exhibition.

An important part of the project was ensuring compatibility of the outputs with the museum's audiovisual equipment, followed by installing and commissioning the work directly in the exhibition. The outputs were designed to form part of the visitor experience—not merely as standalone videos or sounds, but as carefully considered elements that complement the exhibition space, story and dramaturgy.

Scope of our project

  • creation and production of audiovisual content for the museum exhibition,
  • production of videos, audio tracks and interactive elements,
  • preparation of games and digital outputs for visitors,
  • filming and processing of drone footage,
  • work with archival materials, photographs and historical documents,
  • recording and processing of soundtracks,
  • creation of subtitles and editing of supplied film materials,
  • technical optimisation of outputs for the museum's AV equipment,
  • installation and commissioning of audiovisual elements in the exhibition,
  • ongoing review, revisions and coordination with the client.

The result is a comprehensive set of audiovisual elements that expands the traditional museum presentation with modern digital formats. The exhibition thus gains a more dynamic character, enables visitors to engage more actively with the topics on display and connects historical content with contemporary presentation methods.
