For Masaryk University we provided the production and installation of building signage on the university campus, as well as the implementation of interior information elements. The project focused on improving orientation within the premises, adding safety and information materials, and making selected information accessible also to people with visual impairments.
Outside, we implemented building signage made of Dibond, including installation at height using a work platform. The solution was designed to be durable, legible and suitable for a highly frequented university campus.
Inside, we installed door signage, information boards and other elements required for the daily operation of the buildings. The project also included preparing, printing and installing information leaflets and instructions concerning protection and procedures in the event of an attack in a school environment.
A separate part of the project involved the complete preparation and installation of films with Braille lettering, including translation, production and installation on site. This made important information accessible also to visitors and users with visual impairments.
The project was divided into two main milestones. The first stage included the installation of interior door signage and information boards, as well as the installation of information materials. The second stage focused on the complete installation of films with Braille lettering, including related work.
The project resulted in a clearer, safer and more accessible information system throughout Masaryk University, combining wayfinding, safety communication and the principles of an inclusive approach.
